I'm always tempted to give any character I design freckles, ngl.

Sad I don't have them myself.

It is basically something the placebo effect works for, afaik. Once I found out I just kinda' cut out the middleman and opted to will them away. Takes a few seconds if they're particularly stubborn but usually I wont hiccup more than once or twice before shaking them off.

It's not surprising i'd go to bat for a few of the imitators trying to capitalise off of Madoka's success, but god, Site might be the absolute nadir of the bunch.

God, someone mentioned Magical Girl Raising Project and Mahou Shoujo Site in the same breath on a post making fun of that godawful video essay and I'm genuinely offended lol.

Like MGRP is also kinda' edgy trash but Site is so much more like...voyeuristically seedy and mean spirited imo.

Yeah, pretty much. I can get the gist of it but like...the barriers not being taken back down again after piles up into such a weirdly narrow band.

In a sense this is fantastic advertising because I'm so intrigued by what could possibly make the cut.

I feel like some of these were probably reactions to specific trends that oversaturated the genre at some time or other, but like...this doesn't seem like a good solution to that, either.
