This is the part that sucks about not having a community or friends anymore...

I need playtesters and I have no access to any... Just sitting here spinning my own anxiety wheel constantly restarting because I have no other voices telling me it is okay... or that is does suck...

I got back into L4D2 modding...
Doing the dumbest theme for the most restrictive source game~

Reception has been kind so far, people are liking it so far~

Working on second chapter... not quite sure what I am doing yet, playing around with some ideas, blocking out structures before the flip... we will see what happens from here~

After playing the full campaign... it was def an experience~
I'll still release it soon after some touch up and balance changes, but I might be expanding on this insane idea my friend and I had~

It is definitely going to be a game I discuss in the project... because I have thoughts... and lots critiques... but I want to see what they do before I start to make suggestions.

Now that I have some time again, I finally got around to playing FBC: Firebreaker...

It definitely feels like it was either having an identity crisis, or didn't believe enough in its premise and decided to duct tape some other elements in as an insurance policy...

Got my partner to play my map with me...
She liked it~

Deadline was pushed back to next week though since my cooperator needed more time... It will be out soon, in the mean time I'll touch it up a bit, and maybe plan another mod~
Really did miss making maps...

Map is playable... I wouldn't say is good right now... but it functions...
Might delay release so I can polish up the first chapter, make it fully functional, shouldn't be more than few days...
Second chapter is out of my hands though, so no promises there~

Assuming everything is on schedule... Soon~

I may or may not have gotten back into Left 4 Dead 2 mapping on a whim...
And I may or may not being working on a time sensitive project with another mapper because "why not?"...
And it may or may not be done soon...

I bit the bullet... downloaded hammer++

Despite the fact that I haven't touched hammer in nearly 7~8 years... It is coming back to me decently quick, navigating the layout like it was yesterday...

Not sure how much I want to commit yet... but I have to admit, it feels right being back here~

I spent more money than I should have to get my old PC from 2015 ear working again to grab some old vmf files... only to find that they were all gone, because young me transferred instead of copying...

So now I need to decide... do I delve into source mapping again or drop it while I'm ahead...

Slowly knocking out that list of 70 games I need to cover, even if only slightly~

And gave Payday 3 a try again...

I have so many thoughts and things I will be covering in the full script... but the Cloaker has got to be one of the biggest downgrades I have ever seen...

Also went back to The Anacrusis after discovering people have modded it with custom maps... Couple of them were actually really good, better than the base game campaigns even.
I forget the name, but one with a finale where you are forced to dance during a holdout?... Inventive... I like it~

Been playing more games for the large video project...

Started modding Deep Rock Galactic... Which oddly enough giving me more options and the ability to refresh the missions actually kind of killed some fun... Making me rethink my stance and having everything always available...

I'm walking in a tunnel without light hoping there is a bend I don't know about...
Its that faith that there is light I can't see that keeps me going through this hell I am stuck in...

Maybe eventually I can get back to daily art and real progress~

But the carpal tunnel has gotten so back in my only hand that I can barely do my 14 hours shifts, let alone sketch when I'm in parking lot sleeping in my car waiting for the next day work day to start...

Final completed the Wesley Moons solo after months of attempts...

That was beyond an experience, that was a full fledged fucking game. Kind of wish there was a fourth appy you need from the hidden map route...

But that was so god damn good... No fucking notes, will be playing again and again~

Damn that compression...
Oh well, this is definitely a clip that will be used in the future~

I know it can never be put in the base game... but a freak ass fish person can dream~

I can see the appeal, but gameplay loop of have to be cautious and patient doesn't mesh with me when typically I am the one taking aggro and running everywhere at breakneck speeds...

Just simply not for me... at all... another game everyone likes that bounced off me...

Been on and off playing it for last two months... somehow it has me so engaged I have been drawing out the map as I discover each moon, actually listening to audio logs...
Palpable excitement when I can get further as pure solo.

It gets my highest of approval and recommendations!~

Tried R.E.P.O... Didn't care for it. Felt a bit one note.

Now Wesley's Moon pack for Lethal Company?...
Feels like a full blown sequel. Really captured the "get trolled by the creator" vibe that Lethal has always had in the best way possible~

10/10... Would gladly get crushed by a building again~

I have some more possible PCs... Since who knows what I would go with in the final project~

Also got some enemy ideas, and some loading poster ideas... This is my new obsession this year~

I love the idea of the PCs you play as being rejected freaks hidden by the shadow government.
I have alot of ideas for this one... and if I can ever make it, it is going to be SUCH a game!~

I have enough to show in one place...

Is all just going to be concept art for now, but you know that is not going to stop me from theory crafting the whole game concept~
