Yep, that's the plan! It could be 2 weeks of frantic work just for a single 1-day tournament and then they get banned, but hopefully I'll enjoy the process.

I like to paint at a leisurely pace - #bloodbowl teams normally take me months. But I decided to paint a Slann team in 2 weeks for a tournament, to get them crossed of the list of teams. So we'll get the contrast paints out and try to do these quickly! Could be a fun challenge?

Wood Elves: Get cheaper and their 1-turn is easier thanks to Sprint on the catchers. Going down to 2 catchers isn't a big deal. Think this team got significantly better and may have taken back over as Best Elves?

Underworld Denizens: A small buff for their blitzer. TOs need to cut these guys some slack and not put them in tier 1 any more. We all have nightmares from swarming but that was in the past! I liek the troll better than the rat ogre.

Vampires: Pleased to see Hypnotic Gaze reduced to a 3+. I still think these will be very good, still tier 1, and still very annoying to play against.

Tomb Kings: Woah, I think these guys are a powerhouse now. Brawler is fantastic on the tomb guardians and they can now Secure the Ball. Definitely keen to get my team to the table! Everything changed price but you still get a good team for 1150K.

Skaven: I don't think that 2 fewer gutters is as bad as some are making out. I think this team will remain good. The gutters gaining stab is being underrated by the community IMHO. MA 8 blitzers is great too.

Undead: Tackle on wights is great, but doesn't make up for 2 fewer ghouls. I think this team was always a little overrated and now I think they should swap tiers with necro. The reduced speed of the team is a killer.

Old World Alliance: Losing loner, getting the proper positionals, they're now good, likely better than both humans and dwarves. But the main problem is that their dwarf linemen lost access to guard, so it's not all rainbows. I'm keen to play this race more because I like my paint job on my team.

Orcs: Look how they massacred my boy. Strength access to lineorcs won't make much difference in resurrection tournaments. Ah well, I'll just play some other races instead.

Ogres: The only change is that their gnoblars get access to D skills, which could be good. Still an ogre team though :)

Nurgle: I don't think that stand firm bloaters makes up for the loss of 2 pestigors. The team is so slow now! Not looking forward to playing them as one of my last of the teams to do.

Norse: No real changes. Can be fun if things go well, but not my favourite since they are so swingy. You lose guys so quickly that you feel pressure to add kill skills to keep up on removals, but then there's not enough room for guard.

Necromantic Horror: They get cheaper and better?? Orcs were a bad matchup and now aren't, but I think they still really struggle vs amazons. But I think this team are now tier 1 and expect if TOs put them in lower tiers they will get taken a lot! This is such a tough team for so many others to face.

Lizardmen: Only 5K extra for saurus having Juggernaut feels great, but the extra 30K cost means they really struggle to make a decent looking team at 1150K. So maybe it's actually a nerf? Could be a bad take, this! I like that it will mean hopefully more varied choices on saurus like maybe Frenzy.

Khorne: You save 20K on the cheaper bloodseekers, but losing 2 khorngor really hurts. This was a fun team and still will be, but I'd rather play chaos chosen because khorne will be forced to field so many vulnerable linemen now.

Humans: The catchers are now ST-3, which I love. But losing 2 blitzers leaves them in guard hell vs stronger teams. This team will wreck dodge teams will 2 built in tackle and primary access to MB, but I don't see how it can beat lizardmen or tomb kings.

Halflings: Almost no changes to the roster. They can't take sneaky git on a primary any more. It looks like they may gain access to some wood elf star players? So that could be interesting, would love to try Halfings with Jordell Freshbreeze!

Goblins: The Doom Diver is back, with dodge and the boost to Swoop. The trolls are much better without loner. This team will be more fun to play, but may still be the worst race the in the game? But that's fine, someone has to be.

Elven Union: Quite a funny roster. I don't mind their catchers going down to 2. The linemen being 5K more expensive is a killer though, and fumberooskie doesn't make up for that! Scoring with these guys was never a bottleneck. They lose when they get beat up, and this new roster doesn't help that.

Dark Elves: Definitely worse, but I think this was a needed change and I like it. They will likely be fielding much more AV 8+ elves. But their H&R assassins look fun to play and you'll see a lot of them. I don't think the Punt runners will see much play. The team got a little cheaper overall.

Dwarfs: Many changes, very difficult to judge now. I like the changes GW made. I think they are worse and probably turn into a fouling team. The problem is their lack of access to S skills, combined with low strength and movement.

Chaos Dwarves: Very minor changes to this new team. I still think these guys are really bad!

Chaos Renegades: Very minor changes. Must be a typo for the ogre not having MB. The thrower may get taken now it has sure hands. Still more of a fun team than a top-tier one.

Chaos Chosen: Beastmen are 5K cheaper and gain Thick Skull. Blockers gain Arm Bar (!). Definitely better and if rulespacks give them 8-9 skills they can be good and possibly fill the void left by orcs. Beastmen can't take MB or guard on primaries any more though. I want to paint up a team of these.
