So excited to finally have a hard copy of @beccahanson.bsky.social’s book in my hands. This is an incredibly solid exploration of not just violence and policing, but socialism and revolution in Venezuela.

These are the first images we've seen of human rights defender and civil-military expert Rocío San Miguel, a friend and longtime colleague, since #Venezuela's regime imprisoned her over 10 months ago.

She needs surgery: another reason to end her captivity immediately.
