There are so many layers of bad faith nonsense to this whole strand of argument that it would take a several-dozen-page peer reviewed academic article to fully unpack.

If you think people on the right are dumb pieces of shit, you think too highly of them. This is not the benign stupidity of a slightly substandard person. This is the bad faith malevolence of an agenda to exterminate political opposition. Civilization cannot function with these people.
