I started listening to the Man Who Would be King and felt a bit bored, but I'll give it another try. I have 3 or 4 library audiobooks loaded right now, and go back and forth among them.

There was a time I studied religious books etc - mostly some form of Hinduism - Vedanta, I think.

I stopped buying/eating bread. I also adopted a senior cat, and sing to her every morning along with a YouTube video while I brush/comb her - it's a great way for both of us to start our day.

I'll listen to the audiobook today at Planet Fitness. The version I downloaded free through my library has other short stories. The reader is Rebecca Burns. It's the only audiobook I found through my Libby app (I belong to three libraries).

At age 22, I toured the Anne Frank museum. I left in a daze. Until that time, I never fully understood that someone could've/would've murdered me for no reason other than that my parents were Jewish. It changed my life. (I read the book as a teen, but the museum is what had the impact).

Oh, I sort of guessed that, but wasn't sure. I thought there were well-established health plans available for governmental employees - I had one the whole time I was a state employee, except perhaps during my initial probation. Are you still with the county? I've lost track, sorry!

What is a health trust? EG, for people who can't afford traditional health insurance. Something else? If you're involved, my guess is it's to help people.
