Days like today, when I’m dealing with a flare-up, I’m extra grateful for freelancing and being able to adjust my schedule on the fly. I can take the morning off to rest and not force myself to work when I can barely get out of bed.

On the evening on Monday 1st December, Del (Mags/MagsAndTheMachine, Any Pronouns) was given 30 days to leave their current residence. This happened after Del tried to stop a verbal altercation between two others in the house (one being the home owner). This is Del's 4th residence of the year and was his last option. Del has been unable to find work after moving multiple hours from their previous job, with most work being inaccessible. All have a minimum of 48 minutes walking time, which with chronic illness is very inaccessible. Del is applying for a 90 day shelter, and is looking for mutual aid to help with survival costs, transport and other possible costs. He is hoping to get a car to help with getting employed and secure a roof over his head. We (Del, Jess (Majesstly) and Queero (ICanBeYourQueero)) are hosting a raid train on Monday December 15th, to hopefully boost donations and bring more awareness to the campaign. We plan for the raid train to last 24 hours, and timeslots will be between 2-4 hours depending on the amount of streamers. We ask that any streamers interested would be okay with following a set of rules to make the raid train accessible and to not include problematic/harmful games: No Rapid, Shaking Flashing, LUL or Pepe Emotes, No Games under Boycott (BDS Boycotts such as Minecraft and Disney, Harry Potter, Humble Games, Sims 4, Stardew, Phasmophobia and Fortnite), No Games with any Generative Ai, and to actively discourage chat from using ableist language. Any streamers who are interested should get in contact with Queero via Bluesky or Discord by Friday 12th for access to the Discord. Due to the short notice, we believe that 24 hours will be the most achievable length and time slots will be dependent on interest. Queero will also be aiming to offer each streamer a key to give their community during their slot as a thank you. Queero and Del are also offering their services as temporary mods, to help out in any streams that may need it.

Disabled people who have high support needs are not 'less than' and we need to stop treating them like just because they can't reach some arbitrary pinnacle of independence they are worthless. They are not.

Waking up and immediately hitting a wall of dysphoric thoughts has made me so emotional. It’s creating a narrative that I won’t be able to achieve my dreams. And that narrative has felt more real, as days pass.
