Nino from Blazing Blade if she was in FE Shadows. I've based her Shadow form on a salamander; creature once believed to be born of fire (which is Nino's affinity in her game)

(to be honest I had the exact same reaction on Roy's bridal banner)
It is done!! 100% completed Xenoblade X. Only took me 149 hours of playtime.
It's the first time (unless you count Torna) that I completed a Xenoblade game โจ I always try, but usually always give up at some point.
But XCX was really fun to complete and the new QoL stuff helped a ton!
I like the new characters and the new cutscenes are clearly WAY better than the original ones. The final chapter had much more content than expected.
Everything is awesone, except for my story expectations after all these years of waiting for a conclusion :(
The new story content really disappointed me though... without spoiling anything: The WiiU version ended with open questions and the Switch version does NOT answer any of them and even retcons the most interesting plottwist of the original game. Bummer...

Got faster through the game than I thought, I remember playing for +200h on the WiiU.
Just finished Xenoblade X: Definitive Edition after 134 hours.
Got every character at max, beat every quest. Didn't 100% the exploration yet, not sure if I'll really attempt to do that or not. I'm roughly at 85% on the segments
Oh, right. Got no Bingo again, but I was close!
02.04.2025 15:17 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0It's weird how some Switch 2 Edition expansions don't make use of the new hardware (e.g. Kirby).
Gimme a Smash2Expansion!! Please!
But I guess Sakurai is busy with Kirby for now, that's fine as well.
Ok that's enough thoughts for now.
Looking forward to the Switch 2 release!
I still can't judge if the console is powerful or not. But the games look very clean, very highres!
I think it's funny how Nintendo made mouse mode look like a gimmick. Did they even show a mouse cursor once?
Never got into Kirby's Air Ride, but somehow this announcement made me more excited than any other from today xD
3rd party support looks promising so far.
The new games are so expensive tho... 70โฌ digital/80โฌ physical :/ boo!
Loved everything about Mario Kart World. The character selection looks nuts!!
Very interested in DK Bananza, looks weird.
The wireless gamecube controller got me excited, it's nice to see FE9 and F-Zero GX coming to modern consoles!
SAKURAI IS BACK!
This year could look like
June: Mario Kart World (confirmed)
July: Donkey Kong (confirmed)
August: Drag x Drive (summer)
September: Metroid 4 (2025)
October: Pokemon ZLA (late 2025)
November:Zelda Warriors (Winter 2025)
hope there will be more stuff that's not yet announced
Mixed feelings after the Direct. Everything shown was great! But thanks to all those leakers saying "secrets in the pro controller" and "secrets in the dock", I expected more innovation from the console.
Great 1st party games shown, but I expected some more reveals...later maybe
Got my bingo card ready for the Switch 2 direct tomorrow.
Super hyped!! I'm already nervous now, just thinking about it xD
At first I was hoping for more horror elements, but as the story went on, it got super interesting and captivating.
Each day I came up with new theories (all wrong).
It got more complicated each day, but the game also took the time to really explain everything in detail.
Just awesome, a masterpiece
It's certainly not perfect - you NEED to play with a guide, because there is 0 QoL features that help the player to get on the right route in the correct order. And there is lots of "backtracking", were you have to read things multiple times.
But with a guide it's not that a big deal.
It's one of the earliest works from Kotaro Uchikoshi and it really shows. A lot of plottwists remind me of 999, Virtue's Last Reward and A.I. The Somnium Files.
There are so many plot twists that completely change your perspective on the whole story - yet the conclusion is completely unexpected
I just finished the Visual Novel Ever17 on the Switch, took me 30 hours to get 100%.
Wow, I'm so blown away. What a masterpiece, easily one of the best VNs I've ever read! The Remake is supposely bad, but not knowing the original, it's still a 10/10 for me

So close to a bingo...!

And no FE4 remake yet, which means the next FE game is (hopefully) coming to the Switch 2!
No MP4 release date also make it seem like a possible Switch 2 launch game.
Nice nice nice nice!!
I have mixed feelings about this direct. I'm hyped about new game announcements, but I would rather see good games on tuesday, announced for Switch 2 instead.
I really hope, the FE4 remake is a year 1 Switch 2 title that makes use of the new power + mouse mode!
I think Nintendo's focus is less on gaining new customers and more on squeezing money out of the existing, huge Switch 1 userbase.
So more smaller titles, ports, remasters or easy sequels.
Nintendo Direct Hype!!
Here's my Bingo card for tomorrow.
