Nobody in their right mind would consider privatising the NHS to be a valid idea. To see how attrocious it is, all you have to do is look at the US. So any politician pushing this is likely in it for their own personal financial gain.

I tend to think that the best approach is the kinder approach rather than the guilt-trip approach. Give people reasons to choose veganism rather than trying to coerce them into it. Loads of studies show the advantages of veganism. It is simply the best, healthier and most sustainable option.
