It's a sort of a fediverse alternative to Reddit. Got popular when things started to get really bad on Reddit. I don't completely understand it but I've enjoyed most of my interactions on it. It's reddit-ish, but decentralized with instances all over with different names, etc.

At the very least, NO KINGS reminded others in their towns they are NOT alone. They are NOT constantly surrounded with people who would rather see them gone. A reminder hope is not lost, at least not entirely.
