As for A and C, you could honestly tell a lot from their kiss in GSD. +

Furthermore, I am convinced that Meyrin's words regarding Meer were a spur for the couple: Cagalli finally showed a bit of healthy jealousy. This is why I can't understand the anger towards Meyrin.

Tbh I didn't know the interviews, but I had watched Final Plus and I still didn't misunderstand because at the end of GSD Athrun says he doesn't want to rush Cagalli. This was enough for me.
