So many outstanding Syrians I met 2003-17 when with
@amnesty & who lost liberty & it seems life struggling for freedom & democracy. On human rights day & always I remember Razan Zeitouneh, Khalil Maatouq, Abdullah al-Khalil & Abdel-Aziz al-Khayyir & all who gave so much for this new dawn.

Some 96,000 people were forcibly disappeared by the Syrian regime & are mostly unaccounted for, according to the Syrian Network for Human Rights. A devastating legacy for Syrians to contend with & to pursue truth & justice for, which we should all try to support.

Not content with illegally occupying & pillaging the Golan since '67, bombing hundreds of targets across Syria, kidnapping Syrians from inside Syria (see @syriahr), Israeli forces seize yet more Syrian territory & wanted war criminal Netanyahu says Golan will be Israel's forever.

Write to your MP to demand the UK's leaders end complicity in genocide. Stop the UK's military, economic, political & diplomatic support for Israel's genocidal & apartheid policies. Support the Palestinians' struggle to exist.
