There was telegram but now i wonder if the story about being used for nefarious reasons will get it banned (think of the children).

If it comes back I'm not trusting the app, also of interest: per CNN DoD has flagged tencent as working with chinese government, the game part suck, sure, but tencent owns discord a communication tool used by millions. So slowly it comes that only meta apps will be used for messaging.

Well with tik tok down and reports of DoD flagging tencent as adversary, discord might go away, so crippling communications to only use sms or meta owned networks (telegram is the one left but you know)
