Meant to post this a few days ago, but I loved the Bernie/AOC rally in Utah this past Sunday!

While I wish there was more emphasis on the “how” part of fighting the America Oligarchy; having them speak to the increasing wealth gap was really nice.

Something I like to think about that helps me not hate everyone is, those who voted for the orange marmalade, voted out of fear of their budgets.

Nice thing is, as they get betrayed by Cheeto dust, they are hopefully more inclined to class revolution and I think that’s pretty cool.

I did everything I was told would make me successful and comfortable and I still was living paycheck to paycheck. Turns out the American dream died back when the rich stopped paying their fair share.

What radicalized you?

I’d love to not need a car lol my growing city thankfully is considering options for the future, so at least there is some hope for a walkable or semi walkable city

For me I have 2 main things. If local (Mayor, city council) are they going to promote walkable city concepts and push for better public transit.

As for everything else it’s usually how anti-corporate or pro-environmentalism they are.

This is roughly what I think needs to happen. Speak out about the bigotry but work to try to have conversations with people.

The only way forward is to unite under what we have in common and create mutual compromises where we differ.

I think why I’m so against corporations is, if the government owned things such as utilities, the people have a much easier time demanding change over a corporation that has a monopoly.

If we collectively use something, we should collectively own something.

I’ve been thinking a while on what the next 4 years are going to look like and while I am definitely scared, I also have hope that the pendulum will swing back towards progress and compassion.
