Video games helped me learn about socializing, strategizing, mathematics, reading comprehension, and so much more than just books alone.

Thanksgiving & Christmas were never my favorite as they are times of struggle, pain, and grief over my lifetime so games helped me escape and learn life lessons I couldn't from lack of a better environment. .

I am so happy to say this will be how I will survive this holiday season and how I'll be unwinding from overstimulation from work. I've been having a bit of rough bout emotionally with RSD and my lack of being able to get ample support for mental health due to insurance issues.

The arranged soundtrack is beautiful to listen to and the graphics make it so ai can enjoy my favorite anew. I'm a little perturbed at minute differences in terms of specialities being locked and certain items no longer in chests, but that's just my being an old 90's gamer.

I really can't express the pure joy and excitement I have to play this game once again. Star Ocean The Second Story is one of my favorite JRPGS for what they taught me about life, war, loss, love, and the iron will to face it all with friends and family, even those not related to you. #starocean
