Pastry cream + apple compote

My four-year-old niece drew Kitsu a get-well-soon picture.

The dough from yesterday is chilling. Now, it’s time for the apple compote.

I was irritated that you have to roll out the butter and make a dough envelope for it, BUT at least so far, the dough is doing what it’s supposed to do.

I cut into it before I remembered to take a picture. It’s good! It kind of just tastes like meat and cheese, but it’s good.
