It goes in and out of style like lots of fonts, but I distinctly remember Bodoni being everywhere when I was in college and people were trying to make things look sophisticated and luxurious.

I know we're due for late-aughts nostalgia because Bodoni is starting to look retro and cool to me instead of dated and tacky.
