Mare update: so far, so good. Still doing very well, and there's a lot of fresh pink granulation tissue. The old lady is doing her best to heal.

Mare update: we found the missing part of her foot. Farrier is cleaning it up for a specimen jar. She is VERY sore, but very bright. She cut through an artery and a vein, both bled again as we unwrapped to look at and treat it. She's in good spirits, though, and is very into her food.
