WRONG.
AI is just out here flat out lying about me. I never said this. No disrespect the Great LeGuin but no one ever needed to "prove" such a thing. Mschew. Anyone who knows me knows I don't speak like that.

Ammori: This is a monumental victory for fundamental freedoms and for Palestine Ammori has released a statement describing the high courtβs ruling as a βmonumental victoryβ and that the government proscribed Palestine Action as a terror group βin a Trumpian abuse of powerβ. She said: βThis is a monumental victory both for our fundamental freedoms here in Britain and in the struggle for freedom for the Palestinian people, striking down a decision that will forever be remembered as one of the most extreme attacks on free speech in recent British history. βPalestine Action is the first civil disobedience organisation that does not advocate for violence to be proscribed by the British Government as a βterroristβ group, in a Trumpian abuse of power which would have seen this Labour Government proscribe the Suffragettes. This ban was unlawful, resulting in the unlawful arrest of nearly 3,000 people - among them priests, vicars, former magistrates and retired doctors β under terrorism laws for simply sitting in silence while holding signs reading: βI oppose genocide β I support Palestine Actionβ. It appears that in planning for Operation Metro Surge, the government failed to plan for the constitutional rights of its civil detainees. The government suggests β with minimal explanation and even less evidence β that doing so would result in "chaos." The Constitution does not permit the government to arrest thousands of individuals and then disregard their constitutional rights because it would be too challenging to honor those rights. 14 At this preliminary stage, Plaintiffs have made a clear showing of likelihood of success on their Fifth Amendment claim.
BREAKING: Judge Nancy Brasel, a Trump appointee, has issued a TRO in the Minnesota access-to-counsel case about treatment at Whipple.

Good morning!
Today I'm teaching the first session of my 3rd year undergraduate "special topic" module: Digital Archaeology. It's intended as an almost postgraduate level survey of theory and practice in Digital Archaeology. Here's the structure--the titles of the sessions are slightly shortened.
Results from the @archaeologyeaa.bsky.social special meeting per rollam voting came up, and they are crystal clear. The majority of its membership does not approve of recent actions by our president, Eszter BΓ‘nffy and her supporters at the Exec. Board. They all should immediately resign. #SaveTheEAA
