Such a Beautiful Castle! Thank you for sharing, Yara. 🇺🇦🕊🌎
Sounds a very special gentleman
She seems to be thinking deeply about some serious subject. Dear Yara, I'll be back posting as soon as my kitten goes better. We are in a turmoil of work now, for the 75th anniversary of our school. Although it's still winter, some flowers can't wait to bloom. 🙏✨️🇺🇦🕊🌎
Greetings from Kyiv.
It is warm outside. The city is not in bloom yet, but soon it will be.
Calm, warm days fill a heart tired from winter with quiet joy.
Have a gentle day.
A medieval-looking castle hidden in Kyiv.
Built in 1908 for neurologist Mykhailo Lapinsky, this neo-Gothic building was once one of the tallest in the city.
There is so much to see in this painting.
I want you to see it too.

❗️🇧🇪Belgium will start its own production of drones and counter-drone systems in cooperation with the 🇺🇦Ukrainian defense industry — Belgian Defense Minister Theo Francken.
Greetings from Kyiv, which lives in anticipation of bloom and greenery.
I don’t deny the war.
I show you life,
beauty,
history,
and the culture of this land.
The soviets destroyed their art and killed many of them.
But some survived and managed to hide their works.
They belonged to Boychukism, a Ukrainian modernist movement of the early 20th century that combined Byzantine icon traditions, folk art and monumental painting.

My favorite moment from today.
Kyiv.
I hope that after the war ends, millions of people from all over the world will come to this city. And maybe hundreds of them will do so because of my posts 😉
These days I’ve been reading a lot about russia’s return to the Venice Biennale.
So, one of the world’s most prestigious international exhibitions of contemporary art welcomes back the culture that killed and continues to kill.
History teaches us that culture can be a powerful weapon.
Greetings from Kyiv and the Dnipro River.
Less and less ice remains on the surface.
The sun bites into it,
allowing the water to breathe again.
Fishermen are still sitting on the leftover ice.
Fearless.
I loved this scene today
and want you to see it as well.
Ice, sand, a woman and her dog were perfect in this imperfect world.
“Fall in love, O dark-browed maidens,
But not with muscovites,
For muscovites are strangers,
They will do you harm.”
🇺🇦 Taras Shevchenko, from the poem Kateryna (1838)
Today we mark the 212th anniversary of his birth — one of the greatest voices of Ukrainian culture.
I often get compliments (thank you) for the music I choose for my videos.
The thing is, I don’t listen to music at all.
So how do I choose it?
I open Spotify and type in a mood, a certain topic, a season, etc. Then I listen until the moment I think, “Oh, here you are.”
A video from Sunday Letter
I didn’t lose my ability to see beauty.
Moreover, the war taught me to see it everywhere.
Beauty is not a distraction.
It shows how amazing our planet is.
The one we should protect.
Greetings from Kyiv
Today, on International Women’s Day, I chose to honor them: mothers, wives and girlfriends of missing soldiers.
I visited the exhibition “Status: Missing. My State: Waiting (Love You).”
The exhibits were created by those who wait and love 💔
Stop the video on a story to read it
Yaroslava posted about this poignant exhibit she visited. No words, just please watch. If you’re not following Yaroslava you should be. Please support her through Pateron if you’re able. She writes so well and her research and scholarship are outstanding. Such an accomplished person!
Kyiv.
He was playing in a mall today.
And I imagine him playing for all the women in the world.
A vast construction project is underway to bridge disparate fields of mathematics. Learn about the incredible Langlands program in our video explainer:
For generations, women like her quietly stood at the threshold of life, welcoming new people into the world.

She was 16.
Her “crime” was burning her hijab during the protests in Iran.
Melika Mahdavi was killed for a moment of freedom.
While we debate feminism in safe studios, girls in Iran risk everything for the same word:
"Freedom".
Woman.
Life.
Freedom.

Kyiv.
These two young men spoke English and were enjoying the views today.
Not sure if they were tourists, most likely volunteers.
Anyway, join them and enjoy the view.

A glimpse of Life, a beacon of Freedom and the infinite sky above. 🇺🇦🕊🌎
It’s Kyiv today.
I just love sharing glimpses of this city with you.
Such a Beautiful Church! It expresses the deep spiritual sense of Truth and Goodness that inspire Ukrainian vital choices.✨️🙏🇺🇦🕊🌎
Look at this proud beauty.
