First bird of my day. The sparrowhawk was blatantly sitting on the bird feeder, daring the sparrows to come and find food. We won't tell about the secret stash we've put in the bushes for the small birds but we might just be feeding them up for the sparrowhawk! #FirstBirdOfMyDay

I envy you the common gulls. They aren't common here! We have herring, black headed and lesser black backed gulls mostly in the northwest of England.
