To Market, to Market Friday and Saturday was the Quilting and Fiber Arts Marketplace at the local civic center. This is an annual show that is held the second weekend of the year on a Friday and Saturday. While there are quilts to see from vendors and guild displays, you won't find ones that have been entered for judging. This show is all about the shopping.

Do You Guild? Do you belong to a quilt guild? Up until a few years ago, I had heard of them, but didn't really know what they were. I had a friend who invited me to Hearts & Hands, the guild that meets in my town, and I finally checked it out in 2021. I didn't join right away, but I had enjoyed the meeting I went to.

Do you know about quilt guilds? If you sew/quilt, you should!

If I had to recommend 3 things to writers (at all levels), I would start with these 3 (with options for adding more):

1. Be persistent.
2. Be curious about the world, people, history, everything. Expand your horizons. Curiosity is your soil, your ocean, your rock, your air.
3. Never stop learning.
