This weekend, I attended my first TwitchCon! It was overwhelming, but seeing so many friends made it all the more special.

We hosted the first Indigenous Community MeetUp event, which included a smudging ceremony to bless us. Seeing all the relatives in this space made my heart happy.

I wish more brands and companies would consider YouTube stats. I've qualified for so many game keys via YouTube. Then I'll try out something like the Streamlabs sponsorship tool and my Twitch CCV is like "yeah no way bud" for nearly all of the sponsorships

I finally watched a little bit of Haha You Clowns, and I'm hooked. 3 Himbo Matt Damons and their dad are shockingly wholesome.

I've learned to do a mix. Right now, Hollow Knight has been my secret sauce on YouTube. That gets me enough regulars to branch out to stuff I want.

"Just post good content" is the streaming version of "just be yourself"

I will say the Magic the Gathering booths at TwitchCon are always fun because it's cool to see stuff like sealed packs of Legends in the wild. I also love that nearly 30 years later Homelands and Fallen Empires boosters have barely jumped in price 🤣🤣

My biggest takeaway from this weekend is people expect me to be really tall and I'm actually just a lil guy.

Her new thing is just doing a wall jump if she's zooming too fast to take a corner.

I love that the moment I get home, Pandora celebrates by zooming around the house for hours. It's like she saves her energy.

If you were at TwitchCon and experienced or witnessed harassment, especially from IRL streamers, I'd like to speak with you for a story.

I don't regret it! I just feel I'd get more value out of something like VidCon or a PAX.

Overall, I think this was my last TwitchCon for a bit. The community events were awesome. However, everything was pretty spendy and unless I'm at a level where I'm doing brand and sponsor meetings, I can't really justify it. Especially traveling solo.

More than a few folks suggested I do a partner push when I get back. I suppose with NAHM and everything, I've got momentum on my side.

I'm not going to stress with a formal announcement or have it in my titles. But we'll just bring back multi streams and see how it goes.

I gotta give @twitch credit for the Indigenous Meetup today. Being around my people is healing. Laughter is so healing. Another Dakota dude came through and we were immediately cracking up with jokes.

At first I was like I haven't streamed as much on Twitch. Maybe people forgot about me or aren't stoked to see me. Usual dumb brain stuff.

I've been blown away by how many amazing people I've gotten to see. Let alone that people looked forward to running into me.
