I realise I've not really spoken much about Dr. Who since the most recent finale aired. The truth is on the whole I really enjoyed it, but also had a few criticisms, and tbh I think the internet struggles with that kind of nuance as-is even before you take into account my poor communication skills

I think there's a serious issue with people believing that negative reception to a game is somehow "more honest" than positive reception, and that if someone hates something, they are to be trusted. It leaves little room for honest, dissenting opinion.

In front of them there is a Nintendo Entertainment system and a few games for it (Mario 2 & 3 and Mega Man 2 & 4), a Nintendo Switch 2, the Doctor Who Season 7 Collection, and a plushie of Oatchi.

I can't really help but feel like there's nowhere else to take the love story other than to adapt the most powerful Doctor/companion love story. There would be merit in that. Plus we need more freaky Dr. Who Christmas specials

I do love that the relatively mundane drama occasionally cuts away to Dr. Who on his own little adventure getting attacked by a giant bird

Also maybe it's the significantly enhanced picture quality vs the DVDs (or maybe I'm just a bit dense), but I'd never noticed that you can see the inner curve of the dome roof in the window of Bellfriar's office. That's some really neat attention to detail in the original production
