Surprising results. Collectively we tackled most of the classics and really had to dig a bit deeper into the monster pool to find what we missed, so we ended up with: Crypt Thing and Githyanki.

One of my favorite things to do when designing my own adventures/dungeons/hexcrawls is to drop in weird little creatures which the players have a chance to befriend. Strange abandoned familiar? Weird derpy critter? Histerical trapped fairy? Hell yeah.

So a bit of a tag-along from the previous post, which outsourced (by this I mean non-native to the system you use) or homebrew classes do you use in your games?

I run BX/LotFP atm and I added Kenku, Ranger, Marksman and Witch...so far at least.

Need help, since my mind is blanking. There was an oldschool dnd zine (you know one of those written out with a typewriter), I remember it having a "medicine man" class and a whole bunch of spells, etc. Not all rules were laid out, so you had to do some homebrew. It was released posthumously.

Usually doesn't happen that people cancel last minute and even if they do I just run the session as long as there are at least 2 players attending. Instead of sanctions, I usually reward players attending with a small random table of boons that last one session.

Most I do nowadays is 2 per week and that happens rarely.

In my RPG career, I went from doing all nighters, to preferring 4 hour games and now finally settling down on somewhere between 6-8 hour sessions. That seems like the sweet spot for me.

I don't have that many, but I always end up getting games that are BIG... KDM alone is half the storage space lol. La Granja never heard of actually!

Heh yeah, just today I asked Zak about dragons in CW.

Reason why I ask about dragons in CW: thinking about adding dragons to my hexcrawl game, but want them to have purpose on the map. Do you ever use dragons and in what capacity? Any special homebrew mythologies about them?

This guy completed all of his character arcs...what a legend.

I like a lot of "boss battlers" a la Kingdom Death...it is a mammoth of a game, but it has a lot of elements of old-school rpgs as far as randomness and lethality goes. Plus a lot of space to RP with you characters.

Curious which boardgames do you all own/play? My collection got too big and storage space is starting to lack, so I'm considering cutting stuff and dedicating to a selected few.
