It’s definitely getting better! He’s put on 75g in 2 weeks so we’re happy with that.

A small premature baby has cuddles on their parent’s chest. Their tiny hand holds their parent’s finger.

2 weeks 1 day old. It feels like forever and no time at all.

I didn’t get toast or a meal or in fact any food at all after being in labour for 24h with our prem baby as they tried to stop the labour.

The next morning I was given gluten free weetbix without any milk and an “orange drink”.

The situation is dire. We didn’t bring food because emergency.

Life update (i miss old twitter at times like this!)

After a couple miscarriages we got pregnant again this year. It was rough — salmonella, kidney stones, cervix stitches — and then last week our boy decided to come prematurely at 24 weeks 5 days.

He’s in NICU until Dec.

Auckland council website is still useless but based on Google reviews, tracks are still not repaired and lots of damage.
