Wondering why no one likes your posts anymore, even among your friends? It's because @jay.bsky.team and team have decided to hide a huge amount of content from all of our feeds by default.

Here's how to turn it off.

First go to the hamburger menu in the upper left corner

Stuff like Imgur are unreliable and the image just ends up proofing away if they decide to do a cleanup; I've sadly seen a few fics where this had been the case and the linked image just doesn't show up anymore due to the dead link 😔

If it's already on any media (maybe discord could work too), you can just use html to link to it, but if it's not uploaded, you could do a private post on like tumblr. That's what I did for one of my doc's back then, and until tumblr goes down, it'll stay there.

What doesn't help is that we don't really know the configuration of the rest of the continent, which could be playing a part in the flora and fauna found there. All we know for sure is that it's located on high altitude mountains. Let me hear 👀

You want to at least have the image somewhere you know it'll be permanent, even if it's just a private post on social media only you can see. Old image hosting sites are to be avoided imo. I'm not sure if AO3 can just be the host itself, but I don't see why it wouldn't? Ppl post art on there so....

I love the idea of the system being especially mean to airplane not because it can but because of the mess he created by doing nothing and the system's just like "AYO DO SOMETHING ALREADY"

Could be actual BZ or just a system that retained most of him. Both ways are good.

Managed to read a tentative translation of the new svsss extra... There's something that calls to me about how SJ just keeps haunting the story like a ghost, never actually being seen. I'm going to ponder over this for a while...

(Svsss) I like romantic Qijiu, but I also want to see more parent!YQY, of which there seems to be quite a lack of out there.

The potential of YQY and his estranged son who hates him. YQY trying and failing consistently to parent. Good stuff there to be worked with, really.

I feel it's a wild card considering just how varied the content covered by the fandom can be and which MP there is. My personal rec would be Into the Abyss by esana; incomplete but breaks off at a neat point, SY+LBH centric, and it's not so tied to SVSSS that major spoilers would be given, I think?

cue the line between horror and comedy being toed a lot; SY going on night hunts, thinking that'll let him avoid SJ's presence, but instead he just gets in Actual Danger TM (SJ is not pleased about this); if SJ cant/wont speak to SY, he'd channel his creativity into more ways to kill SY as a result

Perhaps SJ wants his revenge to be done by his hand alone, and thus he won't allow any other kind of physical harm to befall SY? 'you won't be dying from this, you'll be dying through MY hand only' type of deal. Cue some accidents where SY's life is saved and then he understands nothing anymore

Looking up for hidden stuff is absolutely valid, especially if you already put in the effort. So many games have hidden things, so in the first place, it's fair game to look up those you missed (vs having the anxiety of feeling like you missed smith) no guilt to be had over it!

I fear it's a problem inherent to how devs keep tying up new content to new generation clears... Other MMOs have the same issue, I think.

That too, but it's flavor text. Gens usually have a spot where you're expected to know the answer now, and you can easily see who didn't read every time with how many times you see "what's the answer for ___?" with new content G27 had two; old gens didn't have those b/c you were expected to read 🫠

My guess is 'if it doesn't have flashy fights, it's Boring'. If we had more stupidly annoying fights like nuckelavee, people would pay attention more just because the game requires it. The 'did you read' prompts being more prevalent in quests is a good indicator of that, too...

It's probably in part due to how mabi doesn't look the part of a game that deals in those kinds of themes; but even then, literacy is real skill issue for some. Sooo much of mabi story is not even shown to you outright, too. You HAVE to dig into crumbs of dialogue to get a better picture.
