All this 3d modeling and rigging has been great but sometimes it's great to just get back to some good ol' sketchy 2D thumbnail boards while you're plotting things out.

It’s rare that I get these! Also on a lot of shows things get re-edited and rewritten so much that you don’t often get it one to one like this. LSS had very, very few rewrites, so more energy was spent on cleaning things up and “plussing” the acting.

I'm finally in full production on Minitaur! A fantasy / comedy action adventure starring the tiniest minotaur, who is officially getting a full length pilot!

Rigs are coming along nicely! I am definitely not used to tails and digitigrade legs but got some IK versions going that I'm happy with and think are going to be very easy to animate!

"Cal-Arts style" as used by John K was more in reference to how "Disney-fied" everything was at the time, more closely resembling their features. It was co-opted later by Twitter discourse to mean "Bean-face" and ladder teeth as a ubiquitous style for children.

Totally, love it for keeping realistic characters in scale and getting to play with dynamic poses / angles

It's funny, they tried to "become TV" with YouTube channels but they just kind of threw a bunch of money at celebrities and when it wasn't an instant success gave up immediately.

Nobody wants to go to the trouble of fostering genuine grass roots talent, tragically.
