It's just wild the amount of work and attention to detail they put into these games. It's a roguelike, sure but you never feel like you're taking a step back. Everything is always progressing, characters always have a comment for everything that's happening, always forward, never back.

I also got credits on Hades II! Yeah, not quite "finished" because there's more stuff I can do but I think I'm gonna chill a little bit.

Uh, it's awesome? Just as good and addicting as the original? Maybe not quite as flawless? Some of the crafting resource-gathering is kinda meh.

The story was indeed Kojima Krazy but surprisingly heartfelt in the end and despite the intensely weird way he went about making his points, I think it all kind of worked?

The stealth/combat was absolute ass though. Might be my least favorite experience getting caught in a stealth game. Woof.

What a weird fucking game. I semi-hustled through it because I wanted to just see the story before playing DS2 but I found all the pain-in-the-ass walking around and delivering stuff to be surprisingly relaxing? Will probably do a lot more optional stuff in 2.

Fun fact - about 20 years ago I committed myself to learning Super Ghouls 'n' Ghosts in order to beat it and get the true ending. I spent at least a couple weeks playing as much as I could, learning all the patterns and RNG BS. I was eventually successful and then never played the game again.

I played and finished Double Fine's Keeper!

It was delightful. Especially coming off a somewhat difficult game that took me too long, Keeper was an absolute breeze that was always interesting and what a wonderfully, weird little world they built for you to toddle through.

I finished Silksong!

I had a kinda weird experience with the game. I got really bogged down wandering around a little aimlessly at points, made my life harder by not finding useful abilities/items until later than I should have and downright just missing stuff despite thinking I was being thorough.
