@gunnerblog.bsky.social @arseblog.com. Thank you for your Partey comments on todayβs pod. Incredibly cathartic. Not many things make me feel like walking away from Arsenal but this is one. Glad to hear others feels so strongly. π

Weβre only a goal down so itβs all still to play for.
PSG have been the most impressive opponents that we have played in years but itβs hardly game over. Weβve for a whole 90+ minutes to find a goal. Itβs tough but far from impossible.
Time to reflect, regroup and go again.
UP THE ARSENAL!

Right Iβve had a bit of time to digest. PSG were the better side, but we were unlucky not to have converted any of our chances. There were periods when PSG dominated but there were also periods where we brought the game to them and were knocking on their door.

There are things Arsenal can learn for the second leg and itβs not over by any means but PSG the best team weβve played this season by absolute miles.

Midfield disoranization cost us massively early-on. Understandable with midfield reshuffle. But we were lost. We are starting to use our physical advantage now. Going long, carrying the ball past their lightweight players. We were just way too scared of them for the first 20min

Referee killing the game. Zero consistency whatsoever.

Got ourselves into the game eventually, but it's a long time since I've seen anyone do to us what PSG did in the opening 30. Technically the most proficient team we've played this season.
Early goal a real kicker, Rice got sucked in when he should have stayed. But we had some moments. Big 2nd 45

I thought it was just England that had crap refs

Letβs just say Iβm not a fan of this referee or how our players are responding to him.

I feel sick, not sure how much of this I can take. Sometimes I think Iβve not got what it takes to be a football supporter.

Declan Rice. The bigger the game the bigger the performance. He is ridiculous. A collosus.

TNT sports saying Real Madrid have been poor.
We've managed them for 180 minutes.

While their new stadium is very impressive on the inside, it does look quite like a posh multi storey car park on the outside.
Also itβs silent apart from one corner high in the rafters π
