I just read this about a Romance author who generated 200 books a year using AI. I have no idea who this author is. But i won't be reading her books.

Thinking about the exclusive short stories we wrote for Ace Books the First Step print editions, it was a balance finding not only who and what to write about, but in giving real value.
Writing the short story about a secondary character allowed me to flesh out the world more. The question was who?

Had cheesy scrambled eggs, ham steaks and chocolate chip pancakes for brunch today. Not sure what we're having for dinner. But that decision will be made later. It's show day. so I'm going to get ready for and present that. It might be a mixed bag.

A hand holds a copy of the book in a bookshop window. The page edges are sprayed with a starry purple night sky
A photo of the hardback cover under the dust jacket. Cream with a blue foiled design
Climbed into the shop window for a photo when I saw we have a copy of the special edition of Samantha Sotto Yambao's new cozy fantasy novel The Elsewhere Express on display in there!

Please read. And please forward to people who have asked this question. A quick, clear, and common sense explanation. "Libraries exist for a simple but profound reason: to ensure that everyone, regardless of income, background, belief, or zip code, has access to information, ideas, and stories."

@katbottner.bsky.social That's what i've started doing as well. It's super helpful. Sometimes it takes me a bit to get used to new apps. But I like what I'm seeing with Skeets.

I just freaked out for the past 45 minutes. I saw there was a firmware update for the Orbit Reader 20 Plus. I bricked it because I put the wrong file on. What did I learn? The people on the Orbit list are nice. It's way more convenient to read numbers on the computer. So I'll be updating that way.

I do see that. But I don't always see my post right after it's posted. So I wasn't sure if it worked or not.

I can't figure out how to send with Skeets. But yes, reading with the native BlueSky app is a bit strange.

I almost think it's easier to post from the default Bluesky app as opposed to Skeets which is supposed to be the most accessible app for the visually impaired with VoiceOver.
