Es gibt standarts wie kabel verlegt werden, solange du nicht direkt am tür- oder fensterrahmen, an steckdosen oder genau über den scheuerleisten nageln oder bohren willst, brauchst du dir eigentlich keine sorgen machen

Aber... is vielleicht auch irgendwie disney. Da is halt auch nichts irgendwie wirklich deep und 95% der potenziellen zielgruppe muss beim dialoge mitkommen, sonst stimmt der marktanteil nicht.... oder so. 🙃

Sagen wo sie zum nächsten set-piece laufen sollen und ein paar platte dialoge mit 'huiii, wir haben ein ethisches problem! Naja, is auch egal!'.
War jetzt nicht langweilig in den zwei folgen aber bei dem geld, erwarte ich halt bisschen besseres writing und dialoge?

Romulus hab ich noch nicht gesehen (das war der letzte oder?).
Von der serie wurde halt super viel geschwärmt und die kritikeb sind halt gut aber uhhh... naja sie sieht halt echt gut aus. Aber die ersten zwei folgen waren jetzt so... nebencharactere die auf bildschirme gucken und dem maincast...

Ja ich mein die alien sachen waren jetzt alle keine glanzleistungen im writing (oder allgemein...), der og film ist halt nen _guter film_ mit solidem writing.
Prometheus mochte ich noch ganz gern, weils nen okeayisher action film war, der nicht langweilig war (gut wars halt auch nicht).

Like... the series looks INSANE. it's incredible. But most of it - so far - is just vehicling characters from one good looking set to another to get the next sceneic shot with a lot of off camera death and lots of splatter to show practical effects.

I just do not consider three exposition shots and then let the set pieces do the heavy lifting bc they look insanely good and five sentences of methapher phrases on 'upsi child soldiers'- ethics for babies and then forget about it, good writing.

Love how this is basicly Alien hack'n'slash the series but every death is a disney kill but they then show every mutilated corpse in detail bc they gotta show of the practical effects.
You could make a drinking game out of it.

So much money. It looks SO GOOD and it is so, so hillariously BAD.

I'm just on the second episode but by all the absolute insane amounds of money that is in Alien Earth... the writing should be better. Or at least not that... abyssal.

Meine patentante hatte früher ihre badewanne in der dusche - weils nur einen heißwasserboiler gab - und tbh? Ich fand das absolut dope damals. XD

Erinnert mich an die 'wg-taugliche zwei zimmer wohnung' die ich mal gesehen hatte.... eines der 'zimmer' war eine ca. 2m² große abstellkammer mit schiefenwänden die in einem komischen hohlraum in nem gebäudewinkel gequetscht worden war.
Aber ja, wg-tauglich weil WOHNKÜCHE UND SO

It's like.... they had such an idea with the casting but then they just drown it in a bunch of the worst tropes. Like... it's fascinateing.
It makes me wonder if the writing was good and got plastered over or if it was worse and some people had ideas to make it at least interesting?

That sounded very weird in context....
No like... this show like, has a trans man as one of the maincharacters BUT HE GOTTA BE A COP and of course he has a poc buddy!
The other maincharacter is an asian teenager OF COURSE her parents are super strict and her sister is saveing mlney for a boob job

This show makes fascinateing descisions.
Not good - but fascinateing.

It's a straight couple with a trans man - thank you netflix shirtless eyecandy shot for clearing that up right before the end of the first episode.

Love that they don't discriminate. Hot handsome main dude in show? Gotta be shirtless somewhere in the first episode.

Started a new netflix show and I CANNOT tell if two of the characters a straight couple, a lesbian couple or a mom and her teenage son??

And I think netflix could either bc switching to another dub did not clear it up???
