I have an email dated 02008-09-18 from Meetup titled Welcome to Long Now London!, so I think we joined Meetup earlier than 02010. The first meeting was in a pub in Clerkenwell (The Peasant, I think) on 2 October 02008, with Alexander Rose and Brian Eno attending.
