Absolutely! I make tiles with carved lino blocks and recently got my hands on pottery plaster so I can remake molds for slipcasting projects I did before & some new ideas soon! Hopefully after my next shop drop :3

Sounds fun and I'm trying to brainstorm smaller less intensive & expensive things for my shop. I wish I had the tools to do more real woodworking and make my own things 😭

Got inspired by my own beard comb and found some midwestern made beard comb sellers I can buy from...are combs with woodburned animals and such on them something that sounds cool to my bearded folks out there???

Yes this is ceramic clay! Here is a simple tutorial I made, the process is called underglaze transfer! bsky.app/profile/eart...

The wood was dried/seasoned before I ever did the woodburn or anything to it! This finish is meant to keep the wood water and stain resistant :3

I know right!! everyone develops their own method it's so cool :3

I typically use underglaze on bisqueware but there's no issue with green, I know others prefer that! I typically just like bisque as I tend to be a user of sponges/wiping off colors and layers as I work, so I don't wanna accidentally wipe away any clay!
