Cadence is a character I've grown attached to despite drawing her so little. It's probably because of my notes for her. Writing-wise, she has more to her than what meets the eye.

I hope I can share some more character lore someday.

Someone asked me if I was using AI because "the quality of your art varies." And im just, no shit it varies, sometimes I spend an hour on a piece sometimes I spent a month on a piece. Not every piece of art someone makes has to be a masterpiece, sometimes we just make things for fun.

I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the people who say this are people who use generative AI themselves.

Being a human artist means that your style and work ethic grow with you. Not every piece is a massive spectacle, people need to grow accustomed to that.

Wanted to do a one week retrospective after uploading! Some cool stats:

After a week of being uploaded, my game received 202 views, 34 downloads, and 27 browser plays!

I am not sure what those stats mean for a first time game maker but I am still very proud of myself!

Has YouTube mobile been glitchy for anyone else?

I’ve been trying to listen to music through it recently and the timestamp would stay the same, but the video would freeze and it would play the audio for the end of the video.

It’s so bizarre 😵‍💫

It’s not the worst coded website out there, but the code editor I used to make it is archaic and I’ve thought about trying different platforms for website hosting than what I’m currently using.

Maybe a fresh start is what I need to get that spark back 🤔
