The scene loads slightly slower than when I used static mesh + textures my painter created, but when playing there's no difference in FPS even though Terrain3D shader is much more complex, which is great.

At first I thought using Terrain3D would be overkill for my flat and tiny levels and went with my own painter. Grave mistake. After that I've tried Terrain3D and it feels great to use something that actually works and not... this. Moral of the story: Terrain3D is <3 lol #godot #godotengine #gamedev

I usually don't pay much attention to switch-case statements in new prog languages since I do not expect much outside simple comparison. So I've ignored gdscript's match statement and only now found out it being super cool! Don't be like me, do not sleep on gdscript's match. #godot #gdscript

My worst struggle while writing script for intro level in my game is deciding why companions should consider PC a leader, even though PC is no more important then them. And only now I am realizing how many games I like suffer from this problem where PC is leader for no real reason. #crpg #gamedev
