Just remembered I never followed up on the energy company giving me a shut off notice meant for someone else in 18 degree weather.

I connected with the neighbor they meant to give the notice to and gave them a pile of resources to fight this and let them know how to reach me.

Hopefully they win.

if you live in LA and are or might be evacuating:

take a cellphone video of you walking around your place, going over all of your belongings, it's admissible when trying to get insurance payouts for it
