They say it would be for countries that have a large amount of visitors that overstay their visitor visas. No clue how they're quantifying "large amount". Hopefully Chile isn't on that this. Hopefully this doesn't pass at all.

Likely won't effect Canada but with how much our government has been beating down on them lately I'm still scared.

Recent news about a proposed required payment for visitors visas to the states. I legit feel like I'm gonna puke. Not an overstatement.
