I wanted to love Another Crab's Treasure, I really did, but after the glorious triumph of Lies of P (just the first playthrough!) I think it just fell short for me, especially the way it handled parries. And I'm *not* a Soulsborne guy, I just really, really loved Lies of P, man.

FTR's only excuse to regain the tag team championships for a 3rd time tonight at Full Gear is to eventually, inevitably give them up for one more run to Cope and Cage. Bandido remained defiant up until the bitter, unlimited double team time end to that match. 🤷‍♂️ #AndNew #AEWFullGear 🖕

I should clarify, I've since resumed playing older games in the series as a break from Once Upon A and it's shocking how much more character, detail and number of objects on screen they managed in the older games after the PS2 ones. Like you said the Switch 1 version maybe shouldn't exist.

sigh thank you for saying this. I owned the other two Katamari remakes for Switch and played them on the other consoles thanks to subscription services like Game Pass and didn't really notice a huge difference. So why does Forever PS3 look and load better than a 2025 Switch game? Disappointing 😕

The concept is so simple yet executed so well even in the original game, but in testing out different racers and machines I was already feeling out a potential meta to the races. City Trial, on the other hand, is a free-for-all with insane replayability written all over it. I cannot wait 11/20!!

There's so much passion and charm put into every design choice and visual effect that you could feel even during the Direct presentations that THIS is the Kirby Air Ride game Sakurai wanted to build from the ground up 20 years ago. I knew I would like it and those Directs sold me harder, but now? 💸

If you DIDN'T watch the Sakurai Directs Pt. 1 & 2, first off, shame on you, fix that! But if you did, I still feel like NOTHING can prepare you for the sense of speed and polish that this sequel is bringing to the racing game table. It's not "Kirby Kart" but more often "F-Zero GKirby" 🤣

Kirby Air Riders is EVERYTHING and a bag of chips. ~2hrs of gameplay might be the doctor's recommended amount of time for most over the age of 30 at maximum visual effects, but it's the Switch 2's next best eye candy if you can keep up with all the chaos. It's a fun game and very well thought out.
