Being a therapist is wild because I witness people as they find a way out of no way as one national or global crisis after another tears them down. Still, people need a break. We aren't built for this. Hang in there, folks. And find out if you have an EAP at work!

I hope this place stays friendly. I am so sad about the election, but I came over here last night in case there was a chance that we could rise from the ashes and create something new. I used to be a writer. Now I'm a therapist. The world makes us into what is needed.

On the topic of libraries, I cannot recommend Libby enough for people who like to read but a) cannot always afford/have the space for books b) don't mind having to wait a little for a book or c) don't always have the time to physically visit a library.
