Have LLMs improved for Swift coding in the last 12 months?
A small followup, 12 months after the previous article, looking at the improvements in different LLMs for Swift development
I spent some time surveying different LLMs to see if they improved in the last 12 months since I tested them and found them a struggle for macOS Swift development.
They have gotten much better. But my dream of relying on local LLMs remains a little further off.

I kinda wish that too. But as an explanation: you can read the dates on the archive page on CocoaWithLove and see when my iPhone development business started getting busy and I had less time and then when my family started growing and I stopped having any free time at all π

I had completely forgotten that one. I knocked out those articles in about 3 hours on a Friday afternoon. You can see that I was really just reading the Clang documentation and some other blog posts and writing down my thoughts as I went along.
