Two-tiered education system is the Republican goal - like two-tiered everything else. One for the privileged, another one for the “plebeians,” with high standards for the former, and the lowest of the low for the latter. The “conservative” Republican (sic) social model in a right wing nut shell.

In the end he’s a Republican, which means he won’t do the right thing by the American public. His vote to confirm the grifting HHS crackpot was disgraceful, but he’ll never concede that publicly, and who knows, privately.

He’s reinventing himself as an aspiring comedian, going for the (British term) “upper class twit” demographic. Not a lot of talent at it though.
