I want a store that’s just sample sizes of products you don’t want to commit to without trying first — shampoos, lotions, soap, cheese, toilet paper, laundry soap, new Dr Pepper flavors, funky candy, hair gel, deodorants, etc. Take the travel-size aisle in a big box store and just blow it up.

My internal monologue saw the light of day in today’s staff meeting and I guess I’m sorry not sorry to have opinions about using AI as part of my job.

I just wanted to sit in the sun and read today. But instead I mowed the lawn and am about to pull weeds. I rarely wish to have a spouse but I DO wish I were independently wealthy and someone else could just take care of everything.

Lord have mercy on any man who comments on my brain fog with something “hilarious” like “you never get to make fun of me for forgetting a name again.” Because he will hear about my wildly fluctuating hormone levels whether he’s comfortable with it or not. I will not be silenced by perimenopause.

I’m tired of thinking about and then having to make dinner. Yes it’s a privilege. But it’s also a slog.

I don’t know if this is a good option for you, but you can park in Squirrel Hill and bus down. I did that for a summer when I didn’t have a permit but needed to be on campus more. Doesn’t make having to be there less annoying though.

I went to Abbott Elementary and then sort of never went back 😂

I watched hours 1-3 and haven’t gone back yet because it’s so intense! I love it but it makes me anxious and jittery.

This weekend I have big plans to hang with my dog, putter around the house and generally gear up for another week of this nonsense.

My dad’s cousin and her husband were hit by a truck while walking today. The husband died. My dad’s cousin is in critical condition. Life is short. Even when the world around us is shitty we need to enjoy what we can.

Didn’t feel like washing dishes and my cleaning people came today. So I just put the dirty dishes in the oven. Problem solved!

Hosted a little potluck yesterday. Highly recommend. So nice to have friends over and talk in person!

Went to Costco and have a new wardrobe now.

Someone parked so close to the driver’s side of my car today that I couldn’t even squeeze between the cars. Zoom in on me entering via the passenger side and hoisting my old ass over the arm rest thingie. I was mad and also laughing. But also mad.
