There are at least 20 states that currently have CDBG-DR funding at this time. Including new allocations from recent disasters. Is all that funding in jeopardy also? There will be a recovery crisis in the near future for many communities, not just Helene victims in 1 state.

The contracts being cancelled is true. Say goodbye to all HUD programs that help community development, help with rent assistance, help battered women’s shelters, Habitat for Humanity projects, roads, utilities(clean water!), and expect your property taxes to go up to make up for the losses.
