Yeah! It plays like the first game, but without the map, and no meters to maintain.

So instead, after placing chips, ya jump into a random planet, and fight for as long as you can.

Next, implimenting the boss; Deon will pilot a randomly generated mech, cant wait to share its design soon. :)

Finished making all the "Survival Mode" stages in Unit Down Charge! Just gotta update the lighting, and refine a lil' bit! 😅

Each stage will be randomly chosen for you to fight in this mode; Abort anytime, but the longer you stay in the stage, the better your rewards!

Racing games ftw! SNES Fzero was my first, as was the only game I could play growing up for quite a while.

Suprisingly difficult tho, I unlocked every difficulty and cup.

It is awful omg. He is so SLOW! Can't even decide if I should change this so the upgrades feel more impactful, but AHHH!

At least with your game it makes for some great footage to share! Always awesome to see the progress.

Sometimes when I'm testing my game for a new thing I forget what I am testing for and play for an extended time before suddenly remembering what I was doing and then having to restart and find that thing I was originally testing for.

I kinda imagined it to play out a bit like the second Elaine fight in Charge. Just running back and forth, firing at each other. Maybe walls for walljumping, platforms, ect.

Wanted to make an excuse to play as all the characters, including captains, and maybe even Dr Aura. Different weapons, ect.

My favorite thing about Smash 64 is that the story was SO freaking good.

The idea that it's just "toys" and some kid's imagination, and his hand as the ultimate lifeform... like come on! ...And it didn't even have to explain it. You just understood.
