Happy Saturday! Been here a week, thought it was time I introduce myself. I was @susie_filmmaker on that other platform. Made a movie in 2017 starring Sharon Stone. Here we are on the red carpet. I will never look that good again so enjoy it now. 😃

The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.

It’s really something to watch the Party whose supporters poop on the floor in the Capitol and wipe their feces on the wall tell us which bathrooms to use.

At the risk of reading too much into Bluesky’s success at the moment, I do think it’s a signal that people don’t want to be surrounded by bots and manipulated algorithms

AI can only go so far. We want human connection.
