His words filled her with joy. She wanted to turn and give him a hug. However, the last thing they needed was to make the people around them feel uncomfortable.
"You have no idea how happy that makes me. But I'm more happy just to have the chance to be around you again."
"I'm glad..." She paused as she placed her hand on her chest, running through all the moments they shared together in her mind.
"When we met again, I thought I was going to have to start over. I'm relieved to hear to hear that's not the case."
Her eyes widened in slight shock. What did he just say? She turned to him, her gaze meeting his.
After a moment of silence, her smile quickly returned. "So... you remember everything after all..."
She immediately thought back to the last time they ate together. Just after she pulled a little magic act for the crowd.
She paused for a moment, as the memory brought a warm smile to her face.
"Too long, I think."
"And yet here you are~" She said letting out a small giggle while flashing a playful grin.
"Maybe you'll feel a little better after your coffee, though."
She quickly caught up to him, walking beside him with her hands behind her back.
"Breakfast and coffee sounds really good."
