I've got ideas for all of them, sitting unfinished, and ADHD wants me to jump between them all
And then depression robs me of creative drive
I just want to finish a project...
I don't know when, but at some point I became so anxious that I stopped finishing art projects
I used to draw and make comics for myself and I loved it so much, but at some point I couldn't survive off of it so it took a back burner to work
I want to create but I'm scared to finish anything...
The character creator is fairly simple for now but it'll get more stuff later down the line!

Nothing wrong with either approach, just depends on what you want to achieve
Simplest way would be to make a picture/static version of your main menu, then at label start show the fake Main Menu and the image of the doors closing shut over it, then continue as normal
Otherwise you can set action Start("Play Animation") in Screens.rpy and define the anim in a label

Someone once told us that making minigames in Ren'py would be too hard so we should scrap them entirely
Years later, I intend to show that person just how wrong they were
Ren'py is just Python at the end of the day, it can do basically anything if you actually code it

If they had those two things I doubt I'd ever give Unity the time-of-day again
Unreal currently gets a pass for being made with AAA games in mind
So I've at least got a fundamental grasp of how Unity works now, i feel like I could easily prototype some games if I put my mind to it...
But its just so much more fun to create in Godot??
The engine loads so fast, the in-engine code editor is so easy, I can build prototypes in minutes to hours!!
Sounds like it would be a dream come true honestly
