It's so tedious and boring. The guy is just plain boring. Loud, yes, absolutely, but also boring. I had to make a point of turning the channel when he comes on because he makes me hate sports. And I like sports.

Who is he going to pick as his running mate, Skip Bayless? It was bad enough listening to those two clowns talk about sports. Or should I say, yell at each other about nothing important.

This guy is a clown who loves the sound of his own voice. I turn the channel everytime he comes on. I don't think I have listened to anything he has had to say in five or six years when I finally got exhausted from his act. And it is an act.

This new VA map, coupled with California's new map and the increasing overperformance of Democrats in special elections in Republican districts, suggests that the Republican strategy to get Texas to enact a partisan redistricting has backfired spectacularly.

Judges generally do not like to overturn enacted ballot measures. It's not a guarantee of success, but it's close. In any case, VA will vote on a new map on April 21 which will give Democrats a chance to win 10 of the 11 Congressional Districts. This will net +4 seats for the party.

since it scheduled reply briefs in the case to be filed on April 23rd - two days after the election - it is highly unlikely the court will do so. If justices believed the matter had any chance of success on the merits, it would have stayed the election.

The Republican attempt to forum-shop only produced a temporary setback for the Virginia redistricting ballot measure. The state supreme court has allowed the election to take place. There is still a chance that the court could rule against the ballot measure on the merits, but

I wouldn't say that. Impeachment is its own level of accountability, particularly where so many Senators refuse to show any courage. Also, there is no chance at a conviction w/o impeachment. Additionally, history will treat those who vote to acquit harshly. That's not enough, but it's not nothing.

It appears he just wants some nominal concession that he can wave around and declare victory. His biggest blind spot seems to be that he does not realize that everyone sees right through him.

You continue to act like everything is normal, or that a sternly-worded post will force fascists to go back to normality. The reasonable demand for ICE right now is to demolish it and prosecute the criminals in it. If you won't demand that, at least hold out banning ICE anywhere near polling places.

Klobuchar is very popular in MN &, at the moment, is a good bet to be the next governor. Or perhaps Smith just supports Flanagan, who I believe would be the nation's first Native American Senator not from Hawai'i. In any case, Flanagan is the better choice for MN primary voters this year IMO.

Even more notable was that the result in that election was nearly unanimous. Yesterday's 34 point over-performance in a Texas district Trump won by 17 points might be the most troubling result for Republicans thus far.

In the past week, we have seen the two largest Democratic over-performances in special elections since 2024. One was a 24 point over-performance held in St Paul in the middle of ICE's occupation of the Twin Cities.
