It would be nice if it was possible to find a repost with profile search too, but alt text is my main concern.

Searching within a profile definitely needs to include image alt text. Multiple times I have searched my profile for media in a post I made, where I can't find what I am looking for because the keyword is in the alt text.

I switched to ddg around a year ago. It actually took a while before it hit me how unceremoniously I'd dropped google.
